Over 18 years experience working within human rights sector with particular focus on violence against women and girls at national and international level, legal advocacy, movement building, strategy development, campaigning and training. Highly motivated and passionate about rights of women and girls and racial justice.

I have developed and led on a number of successful international legal advocacy campaigns focusing on violence against women and girls including rape games in Japan, supporting human rights defenders, ensuring women are part of the peace building process, supporting the independence of women`s shelters from government control and strategic litigation on violence against adolescent girls in Afghanistan, sex trafficking India and Nepal, strategic litigation on sexual violence against adolescent girls in Pakistan, bride kidnapping in Kyrgyzstan, stoning of women in Iran, trafficking and sexual exploitation in USA.
