The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in international business, market entry strategies, and governance, with a focus on the US market.
Objectives
- Key Responsibilities: Strategic Guidance: Provide independent, objective advice to shape the company’s US expansion strategy, including market entry, partnerships, and operational scaling. Governance and Compliance: Ensure robust corporate governance, aligning with French and US regulatory requirements, and promote best practices in risk management and ethical leadership. Market Insights: Guide the Board on customer trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for differentiation. Networking and Advocacy: Facilitate introductions to key stakeholders, including potential partners, investors, or industry leaders in the USA, to accelerate market penetration. Financial Oversight: Support the Board in reviewing financial performance, investment decisions, and resource allocation for the US expansion. Mentorship: Act as a sounding board for the CEO and senior management, offering insights to enhance leadership decision-making and operational excellence. Board Participation: Attend quarterly Board meetings (in-person or virtual), contribute to sub-committees (e.g., Audit, Strategy, or Remuneration), and participate in ad-hoc strategic discussions as needed plus occasional travel to France and/or the USA.
